SHELLYS began life back in the 1950's, and was then just a couple of shoe stores in London. A well known London stylist named Kim Hunt selected some pointy toe, cuban heel zip boots made in the 'Mister' factory in Spain from the SHELLYS store in Neal Street, for a major photoshoot in British Elle. Suddenly, SHELLYS was the hippest shoe store in town. London! Tie-ins with hot 80's designers such as Katherine Hamnett, John Richmond & John Paul Gaultier followed and Shellys fame grew. Shellys simple recipe for success was "listen to the customer and supply them with what they want". This philosophy, coupled with this new found 'cool', meant that through the 80's & 90's. Shellys was THE store in London for hot fashion shoes.
In 2008, the SHELLYS brand name was purchased by Eternal Best with a view to taking Shellys back to it's hip 80's heyday, having young, 'must have' styles, good quality & fair pricing. Now in it's third season, SHELLYS is once again attracting the attention of press and celebrities.
